1. Polyester

2. Nylon

3. Rayon

4. Acrylic

5. Spandex/Lycra

6. Olefin/Polypropylene

7. Modal

8. Tencel/Lyocell

9. Viscose

10. Bamboo Rayon

11. Carbon Fiber

12. Aramid/Kevlar

1. Polyester: Made from synthetic polymers, polyester releases microfibers into the environment, which are inhaled or absorbed through the skin. These microfibers  cause respiratory issues and skin irritation

2. Nylon: Derived from petroleum, nylon is treated with chemicals that are harmful. Inhalation of nylon fibers leads to decreased lung function and potentially respiratory distress.

3. Rayon: Produced from recycled wood pulp, rayon undergoes extensive chemical processing. The chemicals used, such as caustic soda and sulfuric acid, cause skin irritation and other health issues.

4. Acrylic: Made from polyacrylonitrile, acrylic fabric are linked to cancer, especially in women. They also cause skin irritation and respiratory problems.

5. Spandex/Lycra: These fabrics are made from polyurethane and cause skin irritation and allergic reactions in many individuals especially children.

6. Olefin/Polypropylene: While generally considered safe, some individuals experience skin irritations from prolonged contact with these fabrics.

7. Modal*p: Made from beech tree pulp, modal is considered a semi-synthetic fabric. It undergoes chemical processing, which causes premature aging and skin irritation in some individuals.

8. Tencel/Lyocell: Produced from wood pulp, Tencel is considered an eco-friendly fabric. However, the chemicals used in its production cause skin irritation in sensitive individuals.

9. Viscose: Similar to rayon, viscose is made from wood pulp and undergoes chemical processing. The chemicals used cause skin irritation, mental health, as well as many other ongoing health issues.

10. Bamboo Rayon: Made from bamboo pulp, this fabric undergoes chemical processing that can cause skin irritation, mental health, and many other health issues.

11. Carbon Fiber: Used primarily in industrial applications, carbon fiber causes skin irritations and respiratory issues if inhaled.

12. Aramid/Kevlar: These high-strength fibers are used in protective clothing and equipment. Prolonged exposure to aramid fibers causes skin irritation, mental health, and respiratory issues.
